Chinese tourism in Tibet has boosted since the opening of a direct train connection with Beijing. Daily flights from all major Chinese cities make Lhasa an easy destination. The millions of immigrants that have 'invaded' the roof of the world have had a tremendous impact on society. Most of them, though were not really aware of the animosity of the Tibetans before the riots of march 2008 started. |
