In Venezuela, the Warao, an indegenous tribe that had to leave it's original territory on the banks of the Orinoco river after the building of a dam, now live in slums just outside Ciudad Guayana, near the mouth of the same river. They never managed to integrate into society and live in dire poverty. Apart from a little fishing they mostly live of separating and recycling garbage at the nearby dump that services the whole city. The one room school in their community only has one teacher that doesn't even show up every day.
